Speedlite Photo-shoot in Hampstead Heath Pergola

A couple of months ago I did a photo-shoot in the gardens of the Hampstead Heath House – The Pergola using just only one speedlite mounted on a light stand.

I was after something soft and glow and I was planning a couple of my favourite posing head over the shoulder images.

I came up with this; I loved the head and eyes off the camera, the mystery surrounding this beautiful portrait.

I asked the model to look at the light:

…followed by the head and shoulder, it worked!

I got excited and I kept shooting and I came up with this shot; is the model facing the camera?
