Valentines Day love is in the air once again and that can only mean that we are already half-way through February. Once again the year is flying by. However with a couple of weeks still to go we still have a great line up of fun and engaging Photography courses for you to get involved with. Below is a brief run down of some of the February courses that have remaining spaces available. 16th February – Lifestyle Urban Portraiture

Finding beauty amongst the concrete and chaos of urban life is a challenge for any would be photographer, but the results can be fantastic. That’s why we’ve put together the Lifestyle Urban Portraiture Photography Workshop. This unique and intimate workshop allows you to learn in situation with our highly skilled photography professionals, as they guide you through the features of your camera and teach you the art of finding that perfect portrait shot.


21st February – Photographing Southbank by night

If you have a love for photography and you are looking to capture some truly stunning dusk/night images, then Photographing Southbank by Night is the perfect workshop for you. Taking in a host of fantastic locations from the trailing brake lights of the Hungerford and Golden Jubilee Bridges to the iconic majesty of Big Ben, this evening workshop provides you with the skills and the inspiration that you need to capture that unique photographic moment.


23rd February – Introduction to Studio Lighting

If you are looking to take your photography to the next level and you are ready to move into the studio, then this workshop is the perfect way to begin your journey. Students will learn in an interactive, hands-on environment from experienced and highly skilled tutors. All aspects of a studio shoot are covered, from lighting equipment, lenses and light meters, to backdrops, props and studio setups. All the while our policy of teaching in small groups means that every student gets the individual attention that they need to learn and develop their skills.

What you will need:

For the above courses and workshops All that you will need is a basic knowledge of camera lenses, aperture, shutter speed and ISO including exposure modes. If you do not possess this knowledge then why not start off with our 2 day Digital Photography for Beginners course to get you up to speed. This month’s beginners courses are running on 23rd – 24th and 26th – 27th of February.

A Digital SLR or professional Compact camera with full manual exposure and telephoto lens is also required, but don’t worry, if you do not currently own a camera you are still welcome to attend the course and use one of our spare semi-professional DSLR cameras. Please notify us before the day of your course if you will require the use of our cameras so that we can ensure we have something available for you.
