Today we are very proud to announce the winners of the Photoion Photography Awards 2016.
The Photoion awards are a way for us to showcase and celebrate the amazing images produced by our students. Each year we choose a total of 50 images submitted throughout the year to be included in the final book.
Every year we say that it seems to be getting harder to choose, and it’s the same this year. We’re pleased to see that the number of submissions keeps growing year on year, which means even more amazing images to choose from. This makes our job harder, of course, but we’re certainly no complaining.
So who are the top 3 winners of the 2016 Photoion Awards?
In 1st place: Dolores Mateo with the image ‘Zebra‘
By coming first, Dolores has also won themselves a £400 voucher to be redeemed against any of our courses.
In 2nd place: Leah van Zyl with the photo: ‘Red Head in Epping Forest‘
Leah wins a £250 voucher to be redeemed against any of our courses.
And In 3rd place: Sue Honeywell with the photo ‘Reflecting on Colonsay‘. Sue wins a £150 voucher.
Congratulations to the top 3, as well as all the other incredible artists whose work has been featured in this year’s Awards book.
