Hello Photoion students and photography fans. Today we’re taking a look at the top 5 photography exhibitions in London. This collection of currently running exhibitions is great if you’re looking to get some inspiration from some incredible photographers.

This exhibition, running in the Alison Jacques gallery until January, marks what would be the 70th birthday of Robert Mapplethorpe, best known for his iconic black and white nude photographs. This collection contains a variety of his lesser known pieces across a variety of styles and is a great choice for any photographer who wants to learn more about the power and importance of contrast – both in light and subject matter.
