Greetings Photion students and photography fans, today we are incredibly pleased to announce the winners of the 2019 Photoion Photography awards.

Each year we make the Photoion Awards book that celebrates the incredible work of our students.

Every year is a more difficult challenge to try and narrow down the entrants and pick our final winners, and the line-up for the 2019 awards is no different. After much discussion and looking through countless images, we have eventually settled on our winners.

In 3rd place is Margaret Reid with the photo, ‘Beacon of Hope’.  It has won Margaret a £150 voucher that can be redeemed against any of our photography courses.

3rd Place Winner – Margaret Reid

In 2nd place is Lisa Large with the photo, ‘Corfe Castle’. Lisa managed to capture such a wonderful shot of the golden hour that it had to be included. Lisa has won a £250 voucher that can be redeemed against any of our photography courses.

2nd Place Winner – Lisa Large

And in 1st place, the winner of our 2019 Photoion Photography awards is Ian Peachy with the incredible photography, ‘Surfer vs Sea’. We loved the way Ian managed to capture the vastness of the sea against the small figure of the surfer. This wonderful photograph has earned Ian a £400 voucher to be redeemed against any of our courses.

1st Place Winner – Ian Peachey

We are so immensely proud of the images that have been entered by all of our winners, and it is a joy, as always, to get to look through such wonderful photography to pick a winner.

Thank you to everyone who entered their images for the book, and congratulations again to everyone whose images will be included.
